🚀 Championship Bound: Engineering Machine Design
Congratulations to Mr. Lorenzen and his students on their outstanding performance at the regional Engineering Machine Design contest at the Neillsville High School on March 3rd.
The team took
🏆 1st Overall Place
🏆 Best Construction
🏆 People's Choice Award
This achievement has earned the team the opportunity to advance to the 2026 Engineering Machine Design Championship, held on Friday, April 17th, at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
The Engineering Machine Design program provides a unique, low-cost opportunity for students to design and build complex machines using everyday objects to complete a simple task. By participating, students gain hands-on experience that inspires an interest in engineering pathways and equips them with the career-preparatory skills needed for their future endeavors.
Please join us in celebrating their success and wishing them the best of luck as they prepare for the upcoming championship on Friday! 🛠️⚙️✨

- What it takes to be a sportsmanlike competitive team
- Out-of-season and in-season training
- Teammate accountability
- “Controlling your controllables”
- Supporting teammates
