The Elementary hosted a March Madness Tournament of Books. We started with an Elite 8 of books. Each class voted on the books to narrow down to our Final 4. Today was our Championship Round. Pirates Love Underpants VS Creepy Carrots. Pirates Love Underpants pulled out a 55-53 victory over Creepy Carrots!
A Huge THANK YOU to all that helped!

INCLEMENT WEATHER MAKE UP PLAN
2/28/23
This has been a difficult year for school closures across the State of WI. School Districts in Wisconsin are required to meet a minimum number of hours of instruction. This following plan will keep us in compliance.
Wednesday March 8 will now be a Full School Day with Students. This day was originally scheduled to be a vacation day. This make-up day was already approved in February.
Monday April 10 will now be a Full School Day with Students. This day was originally scheduled to be a day off. This make-up day was already approved in February.
Friday May 5 will now be a Full Day with Students. This was originally scheduled to be an early release for Professional Development. School will be in session until the end of the day.
Friday June 2 will now be a Full School Day with Students. This day was originally scheduled to an early release on the last day of the school year. School will be in session until the end of the day.
Beginning on Monday March 6, the school day will end at 3:30PM instead of 3:21PM.
We appreciate your cooperation understanding as we continue to maneuver our way through a difficult winter season. This plan does give us some flexibility as there is still the potential for inclement weather.
Kurt Lindau
District Administrator

Student Athletes of the Week: Harley Schroeder and Belle Jones
Harley is our only Senior who has dedicated all four years to Lake Holcombe Boys Basketball. He has been a team leader all season and enters the court every night with the will to win. He has averaged 14 points per game and his team leadership is going to be missed. Good luck moving forward, Harley!
Belle has been an integral part of our defense for the entire season. She has shown a positive attitude throughout the season, and we really enjoyed having her as part of our team. Thanks for your dedication and good luck moving forward, Belle!

School is now closed for today, February 27. Stay safe.

School is delayed for 2 hours today, February 27, due to the weather.
