The Athletic Department welcomes, Dr. Cody Goessl!
Cody Goessl, PhD, ATC, is an occupational health athletic trainer and clinical research scientist for Marshfield Clinic Health System and Marshfield Clinic Research Institute. Dr. Goessl has been licensed as an athletic trainer since 2008, graduated from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (Bachelors of Science, 2008), Western Illinois University (Masters of Public Health, 2012), and Virginia Tech University/University of Nebraska Medical Center (Doctor of Philosophy, Implementation Science, 2019), and previously served as an undergraduate intern for the Green Bay Packers Medical Staff, staff of Nebraska Medicine, ATI Physical Therapy, Marshfield Clinic-Wisconsin Rapids and Marshfield clinics/schools. He also currently serves the Chetek-Weyerhaeuser School District as their head athletic trainer. In his line of research, he has published over 75 articles and abstracts largely related to physical activity, diet and weight loss. He currently resides in Cadott with his wife and three children with another little fella due mid-May 2024.

🎶 Lake Holcombe is hosting a WSMA District Solo & Ensemble Festival on Saturday, March 2nd from 8am to 4pm. Spectators are welcome! Show your support for music education as students from Lake Holcombe, Cornell, Flambeau, Bruce, and New Auburn perform vocal and instrumental solos, duets, trios, and small ensembles before WSMA-assigned adjudicators. 🎼🎷🎺
