Student Athletes of the Week!
Megan Paff demonstrates dedication to basketball, her team and herself! Oftentimes, Megan is the player pushing herself the most in practice to improve. This becomes evident in games. When someone like Megan pushes herself to get better, it is contagious. Therefore, indirectly, Megan pushes the rest of the team to get better! Great job, Megan and keep up the great work!
Emmit Johnson was noted for his perseverance and positive attitude. Emmit’s coach is impressed and pleased about how “coachable” Emmit is. His perseverance makes him an impact player throughout the game. He contributes coming right off the bench and sets a good standard of how to be on the basketball court. Great job, Emmit and keep up the great work!

We currently have 21 of 43 total slots filled for our blood drive on Thursday. Please consider joining us to donate on Thursday, January 18th from 10am-4pm at the Lake Holcombe Town Hall. And - you could have a chance to win super bowl tickets, too!

Jersey Swap for Stripes: This weekend there is a youth basketball tournament at Lake Holcombe School. Mr. Lorenzen took some time to come to our Student Athlete Leadership meeting to share some insight and experience when it comes to officiating. Some of our student-athletes are giving some time this weekend to officiate to ensure our youth get a good experience. Thank you, have fun and have a wonderful tournament!

We Appreciate Our Officials at Lake Holcombe!

Student-Athletes of the Week:
Katya Kuc is demonstrating good effort on the basketball court. The things the Lake Holcombe girls’ basketball team is focusing on is based on high intensity and high effort. Katya is demonstrating that type of high intensity in practice and at games. Naturally, this sort of leadership will help push the team into that realm as well. Those are the types of games we want to play. Keep up the great work, Katya!
Taye Yeager consistently serves as a captain and leader for the Lake Holcombe boys basketball team. He demonstrates dedication to his team and when it is time to practice. Taye recorded his first double of his career last Friday night with 10 rebounds and 13 points for a team win against Cornell. He shows great sportsmanship by simply playing hard and letting the refs call the game. Keep up the great work Taye!

Picture Worth a Thousand... Points!
Congratulations, Emma Lechleitner, on reaching a huge milestone by scoring 1,000 points! We are proud of Emma's accomplishment, along with her hard work and dedication to get her there. Keep up the great work and good luck the rest of your senior season!
