Did you miss the Activity Code meeting? The school office has an alternative option ready for you.
You can stop by the Lake Holcombe School office during the Chieftain Academy Summer School Program to get caught up.
📅 Dates: June 15th – July 2nd (Monday through Thursday)
⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM
👤 Who: All athletes entering 6th–12th grade and their parents/guardians.
It is important that all student-athletes and their families complete this before the first day of practice. Let’s get this taken care of and make it the best season yet!

Books, Boats and Burgers:
This semester, students read The Gales of November in Mr. Senoraske's Self-Advocacy class and engaged in profound discussion about the Great Lake's shipping industry's economic impact, historical relevance and personal stories of the men who were lost aboard the Edmund Fitzgerald. After finishing the book, the students, Mr. Senoraske and Ms. Hornick travelled to "the big lake they call Gitchee Gumee" and toured the William A. Irvin ship. A bonus stop was made at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and the students got an impromptu tour of the UMD athletic facilities after running into the head football coach. Go Bulldogs!
Before the trek home, a little time was spent on the beach next to Lake Superior and some even took on the one-pound burger challenge at a local restaurant. It was a delightful trip that brought a book to life and provided a great memory from the 2025-26 school year. Nice Work!
