Lake Holcombe hosted a Leadership Summit for student athletes, coaches and athletic directors representing 12 different schools from the Lakeland Conference. Approximately 200 individuals attended the conference and left with more self-awareness as a leader. Duane Jordeans brought his insightful presentation rooted in emotional intelligence. Duane works with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Gophers, Corporate Target, UW Schools and a variety of other schools. Duane has spent most of his career serving as a teacher, school counselor or coach. While coaching he led two state championship teams in football and multiple state appearances for basketball. Duane led out students, coaches and athletic directors on a reflective journey as we continue to build our championship culture.

Lake Holcombe has been fortunate to have Charles Price intern under the supervision of our school counselor. Charles is attending UWEC majoring in social work.
