Lake Holcombe School kicked off the start of the 21-22 school year with an open house on Tuesday. Students & parents had an opportunity to meet teachers, bring in school supplies, eat, and learn about area resources. It was a great way to begin the new school year!





Meet our new food service assistant - Kaitee Kozial. Ms. Kozial has lived in Holcombe most of her life and graduated from LHS in 2010. She has a son, Bryler, currently in 4th grade at LHS. Ms. Kozial's hobbies include coaching volleyball, baking, and being outside. Something of interest is that she and her mom have owned Small Town Storm, a volleyball club, since 2015. Please welcome Kaitee Kozial to Lake Holcombe!


The following staff were recognized for their years of service this school year by board president, Brian Guthman. Tom Hayden - 25 years and Juli Maciosek & Joy Webster - 35 years. Congratulations!




During the retreat, some staff members where recognized for their years of service by our board president, Brian Guthman. Congratulation to: Betsy Ketterhagen for 15 years this school year and Jean Hornick & Amber Clark for 5 years this school year. Congratulations!

The staff met as a group to start the 21-22 school year at Eastbay Lodge on Monday. The day started with an Honoring Our Educators retreat presented by Youth Frontiers Inc; a community-building experience to foster trust by transforming school staff into a cohesive team that values and honors each other. The morning included a bingo activity and small group discussions.





Meet our new 5th grade teacher - Karlie Antczak! Some of our students may have seen Ms. Antczak earlier this summer as she taught summer school this past June. Ms. Antczak attended UW-Stevens Point where she graduated with an Elementary Education degree. In addition to teaching, she is coaching middle school volleyball this year. Some of her hobbies include watching & playing sports, fishing, hiking, bow hunting, and crafting. Something interesting about her is that she's been to Disney World 10 times! Please welcome Karlie Antczak to Lake Holcombe!


Meet our new social studies & history teacher - Dwight Green! Mr. Green graduated from St. Norbert College with a major in History and a minor in Psychology. Some of Mr. Green's hobbies include sports, hanging out with friends & family, and any sort of outdoor activity. Something interesting about him is that he studied abroad in Rome, Italy for a semester in college. Please welcome Dwight Green to Lake Holcombe!


Meet our new business education teacher - Morgan Milas! Ms. Milas attended UW-Eau Claire where she graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration-Human Resources degree. Ms. Milas' hobbies include outdoor activities and playing with her 3 dogs. Something interesting about her is that she has is a new teacher with industry background. Please welcome Morgan Milas to Lake Holcombe!

Here are the September 2021 breakfast and lunch menus. Please be aware that we may have a challenge with shortages this year and may have to make last minute menu changes. Your understanding is appreciated!



We hope you and your family had a great summer! School starts on Wednesday, September 1st. Classes begin at 8am. Breakfast will be served in the classroom this school year. Elementary breakfast will begin at 7:50am. Middle school and high school will have mid morning breakfast. For those riding the school bus, the bus company will be getting in touch with you this Monday for pick up/drop off times. A bus company representative will also be at open house on Tuesday for any questions. Masks are required to be worn on the school bus due to a federal mandate. We look forward to a great school year!


The school building will be closed on Monday, August 30th, for staff inservice.


Notice is hereby given that there may be a possible quorum of the board of education on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 shortly before, during, and/or following the school’s open house that is scheduled for 4pm to 7pm. There will be no board of education business during this time.

Calling all Football and Volleyball Players! We are looking for help donating a SMALL AMOUNT OF YOUR TIME to assist the LH Lions Club in moving tables for their golf tournament this weekend. We need a few strong people Friday, 8/27 at 11:00 and Saturday, 8/28 at 3:00 (for about a half hour each day). Please let Coach Meddaugh or Mr. Senoraske know A.S.A.P. if you are able to help out!
