The sixth graders made clay pumpkins by forming a pinch pot first to keep the pumpkin hollow. The pumpkins were bisque fired, glazed and fired again.
The high school students created a mug using a slab of clay. Details were attached using slip. The mugs were bisque fired and glazed using crystal glazes and regular gloss glazes.
We've been busy this fall making sure that our students are as healthy as they can be! This week included vision screening organized by our school nurse with the assistance from members of the Lake Holcombe Lion's Club.

Individual must have National Archery in the Schools Certification or willing to obtain certification.

School Resource Officer Jim was the surprise guest Monday night at the fall concert. Thank you officer Jim for all you do for our students.
Final Fall Athletes of the Week!
Lexi Hoffner comes to practice everyday with a great attitude and works really hard. She made significant progress throughout the season and proves to be a huge asset to the team. We look forward to Lexi’s leadership moving forward. Keep it up, Lexi!
Connor Kane has been selected as student athlete of the week because he has a good attitude and works hard at practice. He comes to practices and games with a good attitude. Connor demonstrates that by having a good attitude, working hard and being coachable, you will improve. He did every week. Keep it up, Connor!
Monday night Free Community Yoga will start back up on Monday, November 6th.

Notice is hereby given to the qualified electors of the School District of Lake Holcombe that the Annual Meeting and Budget Hearing of said school district for the transaction of school district business will be held in the Elementary IMC of the Lake Holcombe School on the 23rd day of October, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
Notice is also given that there will be a quorum of the Board of Education at the Annual Meeting/Budget Hearing.
