A discrepancy has come to the District’s attention as to the amount that it was charged for busing services during the 2021-2022 school year. It appears that the District has been overcharged. The District is withholding payment to its busing contractor pending resolution of this dispute. This dispute should have no effect on student transportation for the 2022-2023 school year, which is being provided by a different contractor.”

The last June yoga offering will take place tonight from 6:00-7:00pm in the choir room. Yoga classes are free to the community. Hope to see you there!

Masters Driving School will be holding the Fall 2022 drivers education classroom & behind the wheel class at the Lake Holcombe School on August 1-19th from 10:00am-12:00am. Custodians have training too. Thank you to our custodial crew at the Lake Holcombe School. Taking a few hours to train on effective cleaning practices. The summer months are hard work for our custodial crew to prep the building for the next school year. Thank you for all you do.

We had a great turnout the first day of weight lifting and agility/speed training! Remember, you can still join this week! Come join the fun!

The Lake Holcombe School District is participating in the USDA Summer Seamless Option program during summer school this June during summer school. Free meals are available to children 18 years of age and under. Persons over 18 years of age who are determined by a state or local public agency to be mentally or physically disabled and who also participate in a public or private non-profit school program during the regular school year may receive free meals as well. Breakfast and lunch will be served at Lake Holcombe School from 6/13/22 to 6/30/22, Mondays to Thursdays. Breakfast will be served from 7:45 am to 8:00 am and lunch will be served from 11:30 am to noon. Please contact the school to reserve a meal if not enrolled in the summer school program. Meals are provided to eligible children regardless of race, color, national origin, age, gender or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of meal service.

Congratulations to Annie Danielson, Bob Rudi, Nancy Sima, and Pam Starkey as they end their working careers at Lake Holcombe School. Wishing you a happy and fulfilling retirement as you begin the next chapter of your life! You will be missed!
