🎶 Lake Holcombe is hosting a WSMA District Solo & Ensemble Festival on Saturday, March 2nd from 8am to 4pm. Spectators are welcome! Show your support for music education as students from Lake Holcombe, Cornell, Flambeau, Bruce, and New Auburn perform vocal and instrumental solos, duets, trios, and small ensembles before WSMA-assigned adjudicators. 🎼🎷🎺
Strength and Conditioning!
So far, seven (two not pictured) have completed the NFHS Strength and Conditioning course. This demonstrates our commitment to assisting our athletes and youth to develop physically and mentally to enhance their physical performance. Additionally, research proves that plyometrics along with weight training significantly decreases athletes' chances for injury. Weight room will be open after school from 3:30 to 5:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. You can never begin preparing too soon for next year's results!
We are hosting a shooting competition. It is open to everybody, of all ages, with people competing against their age bracket.

The Holcombe Food Pantry offers a weekend food assistant program to the students of the Lake Holcombe School District. A small bag of snacks and simple meals will come home in your child's backpack every Friday when school is in session. There are multiple ways you can notify us if you wish to participate. Opt-in forms can be picked up in the office. This post includes a form you can print and have your child return to the office. Or, a call to the school at 715-595-4241 can be made. This is a voluntary program.
🥋 Just a reminder that Mr. Belter's Karate class will be moving to 6 - 7pm tomorrow (2/26/24). The change will last for the duration of the track season
Big Lifts!
Recently, Hayes Bach came into the weight room and said he needed a water bottle; and that is what he got. Hayes, lifted right past the 500 lbs club and into the 600 lbs club. Hayes has goals to reach higher clubs by committing more time to the weight room. Good work, Hayes!
