Earlier this week the student body took part in an assembly presented by Youth Alive. Their message was clear: open your eyes to the stories of others, open your heart to feel what they feel, and open your hands and act for the good of everyone around you.
Students were challenged to take ownership of their environment and see people in a new, community-oriented way.
Thank you to the student advisory team, led by School Counselor Nicole Crosby, for their contribution in selecting Youth Alive. The assembly was made available through the Stronger Connections Grant.
