Student Flu Vaccination Clinic Information

Dear Lake Holcombe School District Parents and Guardians:

Thank you for a great start to the school year! A special thank you for updating your students' health records, medications, and immunizations.

  • Your students' school success is dependent upon if they are healthy and in school to learn!  And, to have a healthy school community, we ALL need to prevent illness by  handwashing, staying home when ill, and also staying current on our immunizations to prevent measles, mumps, rubella (German measles), polio, pertussis (whooping cough), and the flu "bug"  too! image.png
  • Taking students into a health care provider for immunizations can be a challenge for busy families. So, the nurses from Chippewa County Public Health are offering  a flu clinic where both nasal mist and immunization will be offered for students (without any charge for elementary through high school) who's parents sign them up to receive the flu vaccine on Tuesday, October 3rd at 9:00 a.m.
    • Parents of elementary students: please watch your students' backpacks for  information the week of September 18th.
    • Parents of Junior HIgh and High School students: you can print the forms off and send the consent form in or have your student stop in at the office for a consent form and return to school prior to September 26th.
  • Please return the signed Consent form  to school no later than Tuesday, September 26h.
  • If you have any questions about the flu vaccinations being offered or any other immunizations, please do not hesitate to call me (715-595-4241, ext. 230).

I am so grateful to each and everyone of you as parents of such wonderful students! Let's keep them and all of us as healthy as possible this year!

Appreciatively,
Pam
