📢 May 1 is School Principal's Day! Today we take some time to say thank you to educational leaders who look after your children every day. They guide academic success and set the tone for an entire school. 🏫 Thank you Principal Stalheim and we hope you have a great day! 💜🤍

Student Athlete Leadership Trip! Last week, several members of the Student Athlete Leadership club took a trip to Duluth, MN. Members that qualified for the trip voted to see the aquarium. We lucked out and got to see the first ship (The Paul R. Tregurtha) of the year leave port! They even had a chance to pet the alligator at the aquarium. Student Athletes had to complete community service hours, an NFHS course, regularly attend meetings, work concessions and serve as mentors for younger student athletes. These young adults stepped up to serve as a voice for the student body at Lake Holcombe. Thank you for your dedication and keep up the great work!

KNIGHTS BASEBALL MESSAGE Due unsafe field conditions in Winter, tonight's baseball double header will be played behind Lake Holcombe School. First game will start at 4:30 PM Softball will be playing in Winter as scheduled.

Please join the FFA in supporting our local food pantry and Earth Cleanup event. April 29 - May 3rd we will be doing a food drive. There will also be some fun dress-up days. I have heard there are plaques for the winners!! Friday, May 3rd, will be our annual community cleanup day. Students will be out in the community picking up garbage at various times between 8 and noon.

Huge shout out to Dustin Nitek and his work on our school trails. Dustin Niteck donated several hours of his time and munching machine to come mulch and widen one of our many trails in our school forest. It is amazing to see how much work can get done in a short time as well as how nice the trails look. Thank you Dustin Nitek!!
