Congratulations to four of our summer weight lifters! Chloe Lee, Hannah Boiteau and Caitlyn Kolter worked their way into the 400 lbs Club. Chase Burgess lifted his way into the 500 lbs Club. Great job to ALL students that came to the weight room over the past three weeks! It was a lot of fun! You worked hard and it paid off. Stressing the importance of offering nutritious meals to children during the summer months, the Lake Holcombe School District announces the sponsorship of the Summer Food Service Program. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), which is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is administered by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, provides nutritious meals to children during the summer, when free and reduced-price school meals are typically unavailable. Free meals will be made available to children 18 years of age and under. Persons over 18 years of age who are determined by a state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled and who also participate in a public or private non-profit school program during the regular school year may receive free meals as well. The following locations will be serving the free meals this summer Lake Holcombe School, 6/14/21-7/1/21 M, T, W, TH breakfast 7:45 am – 8:00 am and lunch 11:30 am to noon. Meals are provided to eligible children regardless of race, color, national origin, age, gender or disability and there will be no discrimination in the course of meal service. Reminder for Weight Lifting Students: Tomorrow is the first day of weight lifting, agility/cardio and stretch! Finishing touches were made this weekend with a little "teamwork!" Here is a sneak-peek at the new weight room! Remember, if you did not get your registration form in you can still sign up. Contact Mr. Senoraske to get signed up! The ceremony was a great way to celebrate student success as well as honor some educators who we won't see in the building next year.
